In Landless Sea, I depicted political leaders from various countries swimming.
The waves are deliberately exaggerated—disproportionate to the figures—lending the scenes a “Lilliputian” absurdity.
These political figures, submerged as if drowning, appear desperate and vulnerable.
By thickening the frame, I created the illusion of water overflowing from the sides, and by placing the canvas directly on the floor, I invited viewers to contemplate the work from different angles.
