This work is about loss. Miscarriages as an experience of parenthood. Grief that transforms over the years, the void that is never filled. The fabric in my hands tells the painful memory. Connecting with others is sharing their experience of living parenthood.

This work includes 16 panels : 4 fotogramms of a young man who could be my son, 4 herbariums from my native land, 4 plant dyed pieces of fabric shaping my experience of miscarriage, 4 street scenes showing parents and children in their daily life.

Every panel has a story.

FR : Cette œuvre parle de la perte. Les fausses couches comme expérience de parentalité. Le deuil qui se transforme au fil des ans, le vide qui ne se comble jamais. Le tissu sous mes mains raconte le souvenir douloureux. Me relier aux autres c'est partager leur expérience d'une parentalité vivante.
