„At work (pls don’t tell my boss)“ is a work that emerged from an intensive six-month research process, during which the artist worked in a tanning salon. This experience not only influenced the development of the photographic work but also informed the conceptual exploration of the theme. The installation creates a staged environment in which the viewer can immerse themselves in the process. The active tanning bed invites participation, allowing the viewer to engage in their own experience. Ideally, one would lie down and read the newspaper, becoming part of the ritualized action. The piece aims to offer an experiential, almost meditative interaction, encouraging the viewer to integrate themselves into the work. At its core, the work examines the balance between relaxation and productivity, between work and leisure, through a visual investigation of these concepts.
