Before and After is an ongoing series of experimental works created during live concerts. The project began with a personal exploration , capturing my own face before and after a concert to observe how music affected me physically and emotionally. This led to a broader investigation into how live musical experiences can be translated into visual form.

Live music is inherently a shared experience. Sometimes we attend concerts with friends, and other times we find ourselves alone, surrounded by strangers. I became interested in visualizing this collective transformation that occurs through sound, movement, and atmosphere.

In this series, I place a piece of clean white fabric on the floor, beneath the dancing audience. Throughout the concert, the fabric collects traces of movement, sweat, and energy, evolving into a visual record of the event. It becomes a collaborative artwork, shaped unconsciously by everyone present.

So far, I have conducted this experiment at a pop concert (Matt Hansen) and a punk show (Pussy Destroyers). The project continues to develop as I explore different music genres, audiences, and environments, each leaving a unique visual imprint.
