This work is grounded in the concept of metamorphosis, understood as the intermediate moment in which form is in transit—no longer what it was, but not yet what it will be. This paintings seek to emerge from the creative process itself without predetermined certainties, allowing pictorial matter to advance toward its own manifestation. In this way, painting practice aims to transcend preconceived notions of the model to be represented, seeking to overcome cliché while embracing instead an instinctive and liberating painting practice, where the result reveals itself in the very act of creation.
