It had been five years since Mrs. Rosetti was last seen. Nobody had a clue what happened, she just went up in smoke. Her husband stayed behind to run the liquor empire, trying to forget about her. After two years he collapsed. Heart failure, the newspapers said. The couple had no children, and the empire was left to L. Volta. Soon after, it went bankrupt.

Today, the police received an anonymous phonecall that there was something peculiar going on, on one of the Galapagos islands. They saw a woman in a gown, and their description perfectly matches Mrs. Rosetti.

When the police check out the island, they find a modern-looking house. No-one is there. The pool water is discolored from all the old leaves and resembles the color of the fresh glass of Campari sitting by the poolside.
