Inspired by my trip to the wonderful Azores, this illustration captures a traditional Azorean house near the coast, using a bold yet limited color palette. The composition emphasizes clean, purified lines, giving the scene a minimalist feel. The house's shadows are sharply defined, playing a crucial role in adding depth, as do the shadows of clothes hanging on a clothesline. The contrast between light and shadow creates a striking visual effect, highlighting the simplicity and beauty of the setting against the vivid blue sky.
