REVERSIBLE SKYE

REVERSIBLE SKYE

Reversible Skye.
Installation: © Eline 't Sant 2017 Isles of Skye - Scotland.

Photography: Remains of a sheep hit by a vehicle.
Birds of prey and predators did their job, the rib cage still filled with blood. Sculptures of sheepskin in 3 open plexi boxes, as a relic, placed at hand level to touch them.
The photographs are in dialogue with the soft touchable sheepskins...Reversible refers to “inside-out”, “interior/exterior”... the carcass with the blood and the remains are not attractive, the soft sheepskin is the contrary , you would love to stroke it, to touch it ....
I want to show the interaction between different emotions as we experience them.
