transformation process: from industrial efficiency to sculptural emancipation

delta_form has its origins in robotic architectures dedicated
to industrial pick and place applications. Made from materials commonly used
in mechatronics (servomotors, aluminum profiles, sensors), the
machine breaks free through a morphology deliberately unsuited to
efficiency. This inadequacy contains an uncertainty that allows
other frames of reference to be invoked and a critical reading of the
relationship to technical performance to be undertaken.
medium movement: rock stacking and material synergy

Transfigured into a rock stacking operation, the machine develops
a mechanized stone stacking practice. Rock stacking—an
ancestral marking technique that has become a contemplative practice—is
automated by the device. This hybridization questions the
notion of contemporary landscape through artificial cairns generated according to
a minimal algorithm. The machine's agency produces
ephemeral lithic architectures without direct human intervention.

Mechanized practice reveals contemporary neoliberal esotericism:

a ritual of accumulation applied to the natural environment, sacralizing

human intervention. The installation exposes the logistical fetishism of

this practice and human expansionism: the accumulation of anthropogenic signs

even in sacred places, the exposure of the technological self

in non-urbanized environments. The automation of the contemplative gesture

reveals the hidden industrial dimension of supposedly

spiritual practices.

In situ architecture and endogenous anthropogenic materiality

The installation uses only anthropogenic materials

found on site. Fragments of concrete and metal debris become

hybrid cairns generated by automation. The importance of

non-intervention in the materials becomes fundamental: the machine

works with what it finds, developing contextual adaptability.

These algorithmic accumulations reveal

contemporary geological stratification and question our

coexistence with our material productions.
