Friends have given me my most beautiful

memories - but in facing loss, also my

saddest. Even though we never know how

long someone will remain in our lives, we

keep forming connections, and need them.

This film is about someone I lost three

years ago, but it also reflects more broad-

ly on the unpredictability and fragility of

human relationships. The work begins

from a personal experience of grief, but

doesn’t follow a linear story. Instead, it

moves as memories - fragmented, drif-

ting, shaped by textures, absences, and

atmosphere. The subtitles are drawn from

things I remember us saying, or what

I wrote down sometimes after we met.
