Open Call

Bosch Parade 2024

Bosch Parade is the biennial floating parade in 's-Hertogenbosch inspired by Hieronymus Bosch (1450-1616). For the contemporary art event on and around the water, artists create new work to amaze, touch and connect people, as Bosch did 500 years ago and still does. The Bosch Parade creations always find their inspiration in themes central to Hieronymus Bosch's work.

For Bosch Parade 2024, we are now calling on artists and makers from far and wide to submit plans that embody Contemporary Demons.

We are looking for professional makers who, like Bosch, dare to transcend themselves and the normal. Who make us look at the world just a little differently, making it more idiosyncratic and social. And who realise that their unique work is part of a multifaceted Gesamtkunstwerk: Bosch Parade.

Those makers may be young, just starting out. Or already established, dyed-in-the-wool. All ages, nationalities, orientations and disciplines are welcome to show their imaginative powers; multidisciplinary collectives and makers who dare to look beyond the boundaries of their own practice even have an edge.

Bosch Parade exists by the grace of collaboration. With builders, painters, swimmers, actors, extras, musicians, dancers, with everything and everyone. We are especially looking for makers who involve others in their work and working methods - our 'community', in which we also like to give space to less obvious target groups.
