In the installation Nettings, love & soft knots, I explore the queer community as a safety net—both metaphorically and materially—through a growing collection of hand-made nets. I use the net as a queer symbol: open, elastic, and fluid, in contrast to the rigid, binary structure of a conventional weave. By introducing softness, stretch, and queer-coded colors and fibers into a dark, hard-edged space, I explore how tenderness can challenge and transform harsh environments.
