In the Desire Series, elemental energies become living, breathing presences. Grounded in the primal essences of earth, air and fire (with water to follow) each composition pairs mesmerizing beauty make-up and body paint with a carefully crafted painted backdrop by Nico De Guchtenaere.
 

Drawing from deep cultural symbolism, this series investigates how the core elements shape not only our physical world but also our inner landscapes. The earth embodies grounding and stability, air evokes freedom and openness, and fire ignites intensity and transformation. Each work reveals how these forces influence form, expression and identity through color, texture and presence.
 

By fusing painted environments with sculptural body art, Desire Series invites viewers to engage with the elemental not as abstraction, but as lived experience, where human form and elemental energy meet in visceral, poetic dialogue.
