My greatest childhood lesson, who made me what I am today

My childhood was colored by a divorce, bullying, and the bittersweet weekly goodbyes to my separated parents- but not without bribery of yummy snacks ;-). But through these challenges, I learned a valuable lesson – the power of self-determination.

There, on that bench in the playground, I made a choice: I chose not to be defined by circumstances or expectations, but by my unyielding spirit.

At that very moment in elementary school, I discovered that only I held the key to rewriting the script of my life. This aha moment lit my path, a prized gem I’d carry on my life’s journey.

Some mad ideas …

Years - and countless pages filled with mad ideas and aspirations - later, the vision for ‘House of May’ crystallized. It came to life with a strong resolve to challenge the usual and embrace the bold.

There’s more to ‘House of May’ than meets the eye. It’s a blend of my architectural and project management background and my passion for design, art, and striking colors, shapes, and textures. Think neo-avant-garde vibes mixed with the timeless charm of the '50s, a splash of '80s Memphis style, and a dash of today’s contemporary flair.
