Installation at Tent Gallery, Edinburgh, UK

This project explores Edinburgh's waterfront between the mouth of the river almond in Cramond to the mouth of the river Esk in Musselburgh. While wandering along the water's edge, I noted down every thought, memory that entered my mind. The accumulated text was compiled and arranged to create a map of the waterfront. My words had become my personal representation of the landscape. The map got printed on different layers of acetate, which represented the layers in the landscape. These sheets of acetate were hung of the gallery's ceiling, following the general landform of the waterfront. They were hung central in the space so people could wander around them, like I had wandered in the landscape.
