One day, without warning, the Google Maps car crosses your path. As you see it, it sees you. From that moment on, both your surroundings and you yourself are converted into digital images, pixelated images.

Drawing on technologies such as Street View and streaming cameras, the project is conceived as a space in which to reflect on the links established between screen and image, reality and fiction, a space in which to question the nature of the images that arise from the idea of bringing us visually closer to our surroundings.

The proposal highlights the intangible nature of the digital to contrast it with the physical nature of painting and thus address its familiarity. Ultimately, both are representations that simulate believability.
