This installation was first shown in  February 2022. 

It is a combination of a projection and painting. Sander painted over posters with symbolic and nostalgic meaning he received.

After researching his family tree for 15 years and having a tree of over 15.000 People, a large part proven by DNA Research, he made a projection of 40 of his ancestors, animated by Deep Nostalgia AI Software. 

An artificial intelligence  program that can use images of persons, be it photographs or paintings, and brings them back to live.

The video was being projected on a white curtain,  that on itself was hanging in front of a painted tree of 2X 3 Meters, consisting of old posters.

Another nostalgic poster was placed opposite of the work, also being reworked in acrylic paint.
